Overview
The NeuronCore Kit is a ready-to-use FPGA development platform for colleges, combining theory and practice. It gives students real-world exposure to digital system design, Verilog HDL, embedded protocols and signal analysis — using the same tools and workflows used in the VLSI industry.
Powered by the VSDSquadron FM FPGA Board
At the heart of the kit is the VSDSquadron FM, a compact and versatile FPGA development board based on the Lattice ICE40UP5K (5K LUTs). Designed by VLSI System Design (VSD), it features:
• On-board FTDI-based USB programmer
• 4 MB SPI flash for bitstream storage
